Aranha is a former faculty member of the School of Social Sciences at The College of The Bahamas (COB), currently pursuing a PhD at the Max Planck Institute for European Legal History in Frankfurt a. On COB’s campus, there is an almond tree in the middle of the parking lot. It is one of the few spaces where students can congregate inbetween classes without having to make any purchases. It is also the space where some of the most stimulating discussions take place, and some of the best ideas are born.
